Baby it’s cold outside… have you ever dreamed of a Winter elopement wedding? Why not escape together and get married simply without all the fuss! I know this stunning place where everything is planned meticulously for you. Roaring fires, amazing food, beautiful surroundings, excellent hosts, talented suppliers. All you have to do is say ‘I do’ and enjoy the very best that wedding specialists can supply.
It is my pleasure to have forged some excellent relationships with owners of some fabulous venues and a favourite of mine happens to be the delightful outdoor venue Ever After, Lower Grenofen, which is tucked away in a secluded valley with a busy Summer schedule of weddings, however, following a serendipitous chat with Nicola Evans the owner of Ever After, one evening, we discussed the opportunity of ‘Elopement’ weddings during the Winter months.
My part in this fabulous venture is to design and create beautiful bouquets, together with a buttonhole for the groom. Each Bride’s vision being carefully created following the ideas outlined in a short questionnaire, identifying their ideal Winter elopement wedding bouquet; using the seasons, design style and their colour choice as the guide, I make something deeply romantic to suit their elopement wedding and here are some of those designs:
‘The flowers Amanda put together for the day were all that I had hoped they would be, it was almost as if she had an insight into my mind- they were that perfect’, Vanessa
These Winter elopement weddings are beautifully captured by Clare Kinchin Photography and Liberty Pearl Photography, and it’s always a joy to first see the photos when they release them and I cannot wait to add them to my portfolio.
To promote the elopements Nicola commissioned the beautiful film below created by Baxter and Ted at Ever After, and it was such a pleasure to create the designs for this, what made the day even more special was that our models were real life husband and wife, and good friends of mine, Kayleigh and Ben who had married only a couple of months before.
I might be biased but I believe that flowers make a wedding day, they enhance the romantic atmosphere and add to the memories of such an important day, so if you would like to share with me your plans and ideas for your day, then do get in touch and lets plan something truly beautiful and romantic and maybe even a Winter elopement wedding bouquet together.
